A lot of name brand restaurants are rumored to be in the process of closing locations including my favorite Steak n Shake, home of the St. Louis smashburger.
With minimum wage hikes now hitting $12 in higher depending on your state, most fast food places are not able to keep up so they are firing employees and installing robotics to cook your hamburgers and such. It started with kiosks, but now a fast food joint can pretty much can be run by a manager or two and that's it. Robotics are starting to take over everywhere. And when I say robotics I'm including AI.
I will also discuss the error of feminism when it comes to the gender wage gap and how they want female secretaries to earn the same amount of money as bricklayers and oil rig workers.
